Acknowledgment Letter for Exam Admission
CBT Exams P, FM, IFM, PA, SRM, STAM and GIINT
For CBT Exams P, FM, IFM, PA, SRM, STAM, and GIINT the candidate number/eligibility number included on the automated acknowledgement letter will NOT be activated immediately. Once the number has been activated, the SOA will email a Letter of Confirmation which will explain the scheduling process. Please wait for this Letter of Confirmation before attempting to schedule your appointment with Prometric.
NOTE: CBT Quebec City exams P, FM, IFM, and STAM candidates, will receive their emailed Letter of Confirmation significantly outside the standard 1 week date range as this Prometric Exam Location is set‐up exclusively for our candidates. Once the test center location is confirmed – our CBT Quebec City candidates will receive the emailed Letter of Confirmation and should schedule their exam appointment. This pertains to the March and October Quebec City CBT administrations.
All Paper/Pencil Exams (Multiple-Choice and Written Answer):
Your Acknowledgement Letter serves as your Ticket of Admission. This will be emailed to you automatically once your online registration is completed or your application has been processed and it will include your candidate number and your exam center name and number. No other Ticket of Admission will be emailed to you. The Acknowledgement Letter also serves as your receipt. Emailed Acknowledgement Letters should be printed and used for admittance into the exam, along with proper valid identification. You may use your smart phone to show the emailed ticket of admission to the exam supervisor; however, it is the candidate’s responsibility to recall their candidate number to put it on the examination since cell phones are to be turned off in the exam room.
