This monthly report series identifies and examines weather extremes in North America. Using data from the National Centers for Environmental Information’s (NOAA) Global Historical Climate Network (GHCN), United States Geological Survey (USGS), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the reports identify and summarize unusual or extreme single-day or multi-day weather events.
