How do I Login?

Click on My SOA in the upper right hand corner to login. If you have difficulty logging in, please reset your password by clicking " Forgot Password". If you still cannot access your account, change your username by clicking " Forgot Username". For further assistance please contact Customer Service.

First time users can visit the Self Identification page to register for My SOA and complete account creation.

How can I reset my Username or Password?

Reset your Username or Password. If you need assistance, please contact Customer Service.

How do I update my profile?

Login to My SOA to access your profile, update your contact information, user preferences and opt in/opt out details. Also, view your transcripts, order history and SOA CPD. If you are a member of the SOA or another actuarial organization you may use your existing login to access the Actuarial Directory.

 

Exams

How can I earn an actuarial designation?

Visit the Education & Exams page for specifics on how to earn your designation for SOA membership. Learn about the requirements to become a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, along with information on the Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst credential.

How do I complete my exam registration?

The exams are offered as Computer Based Testing (CBT); and paper and pencil. Registration deadline dates are listed on the home page for each exam. Visit the Exam services frequently asked questions for additional responses on registration.

How can I access my transcript and grades?

To access your transcript go to My SOA. Login to your account, then select "Transcripts". Visit the Exam Services frequently asked questions for responses on exam grades and transcripts.

 

Professional Development

How can I complete my event registration?

Click on the "Register" link to begin registration for an event. Or send in a registration form with a check, click on the "Registration Form" link within that program's registration page. Don’t forget to pick the specific event sessions to attend, before completing registration. For a full list of events visit the SOA PD calendar.

Where can I complete CPD attestation? When do I attest?

All SOA members are subject to the SOA CPD Requirement. It requires members to attest compliance at the end of each CPD cycle. Members attest by logging in to the member directory. Attest electronically.

How can I manage my Continuing Professional Development credits?

The SOA CPD Tracker is a free tool designed to provide convenience for members worldwide in managing their continuing professional development credits. Members can access the tracker through a mobile device or online connection. Access frequently asked questions on using the SOA CPD Tracker.

How do I access my e-Learning?

Visit My SOA and login to access your e-Learning.

What is the pricing for SOA webcasts?

The registration fee for a webcast includes an access code per location to the live webcast; one Internet connection for streaming only; one set of presentation materials; and access to the subsequent webcast recording. The SOA webcasts in 2018 feature upgrades to the audio with web-streaming as the default.

For webcasts, how can I purchase additional dial-ins for my team?

The SOA now offers a pricing option for a company to easily purchase additional dial-ins to a webcast for employees working from a satellite office or traveling. See the above question for pricing.

Why can’t I find meeting presentations older than three years?

In an effort to maintain only relevant and current professional development content, the SOA no longer provides access to symposium and meeting presentations that are more than three years old.

 

General

How do I access the job listings?

The SOA Job Center is at jobs.soa.org and is also located on the footer of SOA.org under Job Center. Job seekers can post a resume, search for jobs and set up a job alert to get job openings by email. Employers and recruiters can search resumes and post job openings in the actuarial profession.

How can I maintain my member dues?

Membership payments are due by January 1. A 20 percent late fee will be assessed on March 1; an additional 30 percent late fee will be assessed on April 1. Pay online with a credit card. Checks and money orders are accepted through the mail only. Visit Member Dues for more payment details. Visit the frequently asked questions page for more information on member dues.

How do I get my election ballot?

The link to the electronic ballot will be emailed with login information. Once voting opens, click on the voting link on the SOA Elections page. If you did not receive election identification numbers, click on 'Send Me My ID' link, fill in your Email Address and click the 'Send Me My ID' button. Contact User Support for additional questions. For other election questions, visit the election page.

Where is the actuarial directory?

The actuarial directory is on the top of SOA.org or you can visit Actuarial Directory. You may type in the last name of the actuary you wish to find, change the settings in the widget to search by first name, company or city, or click on Advanced Search for more options. You may also reach the directory from the homepage of one of the other co-sponsoring actuarial organizations.
